Irene Krawisz, age 92; beloved wife of the late Edward Krawisz; loving mother of Robert (Nancy) Krawisz and Cynthia Brychta; cherished grandmother of Kelly Krawisz and Julie (Nick) Strozza; dear sister of the late Josephine Dulski, the late Florence Jansa and the late Bobby Kobzaruk; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Irene worked for the Spiegel department store for fifteen years and retired after a further fifteen years from J.C. Penney. She was a proud precinct captain for voting polls. Irene loved life and cherished her family. She will be remembered fondly as a friend to many. Visitation Sunday 3:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral Monday 9:00AM from Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan Funeral Home, 4343 Main St. (1 blk. So. of Ogden Ave.) Downers Grove to Our Lady of Peace Church. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
