Mary T. Scalzetti, nee Mele, age 90; of Downers Grove, formerly of Berwyn and Gary, Indiana, passed away January 29, 2013 at her home in Downers Grove surrounded by her children; beloved wife of the late Dominick; loving mother of Patty, Bunny Goers and Dominic; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Connie, Dee Dee and Marco Scalzetti; fond great-grandmother of Sophia and Joey Eskew; caring sister of Theresa Spencer (the late Tom), the late Bernard Mele and the late Joseph Mele (the late Lee); dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Mary was a registered nurse and devoted herself to helping others and her family. She will be deeply missed. Visitation Thursday 3:00PM to 8:00PM.
